What is Poke and how do you say it?
Poke is pronounced (poh-KAY) and rhymes with okay! Meaning, "Okay, yes! I will have another poke bowl for lunch."
Poke is an entree, and sometimes served as an appetizer in Hawaiian cuisine. It's perfectly cubed raw pieces of tuna marinated with soy sauce and sesame oil and mixed with a variety of toppings. Think of it as a deconstructed sushi roll. It's healthy, unique and totally delicious.
